Muscle Lady Illustration of the day
Ok, where should I start with this one. Well, a good friend of mine informed me that she started working out semi recently. She was telling me how she is getting very buff and has these "tuff" defined arms now. So, I thought I would spend one of my lunch breaks looking at all sorts of female competition body builders. Man... those ladies are mega intense. Well, before I knew it I started illustration away. This is the second one, the first one made its way to the recycle bin...

Sharks Wearing Jean Jackets - Mixed Media Painting
You never thought it would have happen. But then nature took a twisting turn to perfect it's perfect design. Nature started creation of it's super killing machine some 450 million years ago. Then... in the 18th century nature created it's super fashionable killing machine.. the Jean Jacket. It took a madman to realize that these two were meant to be together. In 2007 the combination was hatched!

Yes that is correct, tons of new artwork has been posted. In addition to the new artwork some of the greats have been brought back from the grave. In total there are 14, 4 totally new designs and 10 classics. For the new artwork you have "Sharks Wearing Jean Jackets," "Ray Kroc," "Cylcops Bear" and a "Cyclops Rhino." For the older shirts you have "Dance N' Bananas," "Hurt Bot," "Merkin," "Metal!!!!," "Mustache," "Narrrr-Bot," "Nun-Ped," "Party-Bots," "Rock-A-Phone" and "Rubra." Moving forward I will be posting each shirt with their artwork and talking about it more in-depth. It will be a lot of fun and very interesting to read.

Cyclops Rhino - Illustration of the day
Right now, right now is a good time. I finished drawing a rad rhino with one eye in the center of his head above his second smaller horn. I'm also listening to a really old Weezer album... so between the two I would say it is kicking ass!

Totally rad, totally awesome, totally illustrations!

Sharks... with Jean Jackets! I'm still messing with the composition on this one, and the background once I paint it is going to be amazing. For now, here are the sweet illustrations:
Toby Radloff, the most amazing nerd to ever walk the planet. If you don't know him, you need too! Then you need to rent "Killer Nerd," "Bride of Killer Nerd," & "Townies." You can also check out Harvey Pekar's movie, "American Splendor."

Totally awesome, totally Partybot News!
Hello everyone!
There is a lot going on right now. Well, three or four sort of big things that I'm totally stoked on and wanted to share with all of you about.
New Work: I started working on a new set of illustrations that are going to become fine art pieces. One the series is done I will choose a few to print on to shirts and other various items that I love. I have been putting a lot of love in to this new project and the new illustrations, they are a little bit different then a lot of my other work so it will be rad to see how it turns out. Here is a small clip from one of the Illustrations that I'm working on.
Events: I have two rad events going on in the Seattle, Washington area. The first one is I Heart Rummage. If you don't know about this or have not been to it I would HIGHLY suggest you go next sunday on April 1st. There are a ton of really awesome crafty folks and it is free. A great way to spend a sunday afternoon. The website is: http://www.iheartrummage.com/. It is at the Crocodile Cafe - 2200 22nd Ave, Seattle WA from 12 noon to 4pm. Support your local artist and crafters!
The second show that I'm going to be doing is Thread Seattle. Thread is April 22nd, at the Fremont Studios, 155 North 35th st, Seattle WA - 11am - 6pm.
Retailers: If you live in the Seattle area there are three TOTALLY rad shops you should check out. The first is 20 twenty in Ballard, the second is Blue Bottle in Capitol Hill and the third is Twilight Art in Pikes Place Market. All three of these places are small and ran by super awesome folks who support local artist! If you live in Virginia you can check out None Such. All four of these places carry my artwork. I almost took my eye out today
this morning I was cutting sheets of laminate down at work, then I flicked a piece of laminate up in a freak accident. It hit me straight in the pupil and I thought I took out my right eye. It hurt for a good amount of time afterwards, yet I said nothing about it while it happened or to my co-worker Ben who was in the office working on his computer. I came inches away from wearing an eye patch. Weird.....

Tax Tuesday
Today when I get off of work I get to go do my taxes with a CPA. For some strange reason I'm pretty stoked about it. Even thou I hate paperwork, and all that other super boring stuff. My goal is to get back home early enough so I can work on my new art project.
Last night I cut down all the wood that I want to print on to size. I started sanding the edges to make them rounded and smooth. So far it looks great and I'm way happy with the medium that I will be printing on. After I get everything ready, I will start working on the background painting of it all, then do my prints on top of it. In my head it looks great. I hope everyone else will enjoy and be as pleased with it as I'm.
