This BLOG is done by me, Karl Addison from Partybots.org. On here you will get a chance to read about the daily things I do, plus get exposed first hand to my creative process regarding my artwork. Read and Enjoy!
These guys and ladies are part of an installation that will be going up soon in Capitol Hill. I had a lot of fun drawing them, and hope to do more. Be on the look out in the next few weeks for these large and amazing Americans on the streets.
I have been drawing a lot these days but been slow to post them. Here is one I just finished yesterday that was started last month while I was in Chicago.
Finally.... and I can honestly say that I'm DAMN proud of these. It has taken me about 8 months to properly source 100% certified organic cotton for the canvas and the webbing handles. After all that research, lots of mock-ups and template discussions. The size is 15x15 inches with a 25 inch dual strap.
They are hand cut, printed to order and sewn right here in Seattle, WA. As always, any of my artwork can be printed on these fancy but simple and extremely usable tote bags.
What is a better way to cut down on all the plastic and paper bags then to have your own - and feel good that it is artisan made.
Oh the great Ben has done it again in these amazingly modeled pictures of Hoodies-Extravaganza! This winter there more hoody choices, new artwork and a-whole-a-lotta Ben. Check out the site's Winterware section for more selection.
My name is Karl Addison and I'm an artist that does a lot of dorky drawings and illustrations. At this point in time I live in Seattle, Washington and own a screen printing apparel company.
